Doppie is the Afrikaans word  for button or bottle top. Plastic -or  beer bottle tops are used.

 

In every bottle top 2 holes are punched. They are strung with beads on a piece of fishing line that is hung on a wooden rod ( I can also use a curtain rod).

 

The hanging Doppies look geat in doorways, as partitions or curtains.
